How We Work

Urban Concepts are a specialist UK Manufacturer of Steel & Timber Structures, Street Furniture and bespoke designs. We work closely with design teams, landscape architects and our clients teams to understand their requirements and turn them in to imaginative and bespoke public and private spaces which transform them into really practical and beautiful places to spend time.

We aren’t an ‘off-the-shelf’ manufacturer – everything we build is specifically designed for a project.

From Design to Installation

Once we engage our manufacturing team the entire process is controlled under the careful hands of our highly skilled production team. We will deliver what you want exactly as designed, and keep you engaged in the process throughout.

We can deliver your products, to your nominated location(s) in single or multi drops to multi locations on time and to your agreed specification.

Our Process

We approach each project as a unique piece of work – we want to make sure that what we do exactly fits your needs, rather than take a product-driven ‘square pegs for round holes’ approach. Typically, this is the process we follow for each project.

Project Team

Formed immediately order received including Project Manager and CAD Team who will be on your Project through to completion.

Sign Off

The key to ensuring we get all our projects right first time is that we engage with your teams to obtain full sign off of all drawings that meets your client’s approval. Once the approved drawings are signed off the technical team will hand over to the manufacturing team.

Production

Everything is manufactured in the UK under our close supervision, and you will have regular updates on the Project to ensure we are in line with your expectations.

You’ll have a full production schedule. and can visit our facility at any time.

Quality Checks

We have rigorous quality checks throughout our manufacturing process, with full oversight from the project team. Again, you’ll be kept completely up-to-date on the QC process.

Delivery

Once the delivery schedule is finalised we will arrange the appropriate transport and ship to site.

If we are looking after site install then we will arrange direct contact with our installation team to facilitate seamless site installation.
